2025: It’s a Wrap

In the movies, when a scene is finished, the director calls out, “It’s a wrap!” As 2025 draws to a close, we find ourselves wrapping up not just our year, but also our projects, relationships, and even a few Christmas presents.

So before the credits roll, we want to pause and reflect on some of the gifts this year has brought us and the lessons we’ve unwrapped along the way.

After all, as any good chameleon knows, it’s important to look both ways. With one eye looking back in gratitude and the other scanning forward with curiosity, we embrace hindsight as a true gift – a chance to learn, adapt, and grow.

The Gifts of 2025

Our partnership.

Our business partnership continues to go from strength to strength. Sharing the load and the laughter has been one of our greatest joys. We bring different personalities, life experiences, and perspectives, which makes for lively debate and creative collaboration. We don’t always agree, and that’s a good thing.

Our clients.

We’re deeply grateful for the clients who have chosen to walk alongside us over time. Long-term relationships allow for trust, honest conversations, and the kind of insight that leads to real, sustainable change. By understanding their ecosystems, we can co-create meaningful development that evolves as their world evolves.

New horizons.

A major highlight this year was becoming the coaching partner for the Platform for Connected Leadership (PCL), an international leadership and development organisation. This new collaboration has already opened doors to fresh opportunities and learning, which we absolutely love.

Our Leadership Exchange.

We also relaunched our Leadership Exchange series – safe spaces for leaders to connect, share challenges, and learn from one another. These conversations remind us that leadership can be lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. Sharing is how we grow.

Our small but mighty team.

Behind the scenes, our support and associate teams keep things flowing with energy, care, and shared purpose. We couldn’t do it without them.

Technology.

And finally, a quiet but essential gift – technology. It keeps us connected across borders and time zones, enabling us to work seamlessly with clients from the UK to South Africa and beyond.

Lessons We’re Taking Forward

  • Make more space for thinking, planning, and learning.
  • Continue finding ways to express our ecosystemic approach so people truly get it.
  • Embrace AI as a support, not a threat, and use it creatively.
  • Take breaks. Rest fuels resilience.
  • Step out of safety and take more courageous risks.
  • And remember that reflection before the year ends can set us up beautifully for what comes next.

Looking Ahead

We may be finishing 2025 a little tired and very ready for the holidays, but we’re also energised by the possibilities of 2026. New learning, new connections, and plenty of laughter await.

As Ferris Bueller wisely said,

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

So we’re taking a moment to look around, say thank you, and acknowledge the people, partnerships, and ideas that have made this year extraordinary.

What about you?

  • What was your greatest gift of 2025?
  • Who do you need to thank for it?
  • And how will it kick-start an even greater 2026?

We’ll be back on January 14th refreshed, re-energised, and ready to adapt to another changing world.

“Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.”
